I was born in Chicago, Illinois on the Feast day of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, January 4, 1966. My mother was a homemaker and dad worked the ranks in the soft drink industry before retiring as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. He entered into eternal life in 2005. Born the fourth of seven girls and one brother, my primary vocation is wife and mother. Eric and I celebrated the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on October 5, the Feast day of Saint Faustina Kowalska, and received a Marriage blessing at the Vatican on our 25 Wedding Anniversary in 2016. God has blessed our life with a son, Grantham Lloyd and a daughter, Shannon Noelle.
In 2012, I completed a Masters in Pastoral Theology. My pastoral project is published by Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College titled A Model for Evangelization through Sacred Art and The Rite of Dedication of an Altar. There I describe a pastoral and theological reflection exercise on evangelization. The process lead to the commissioning of various local artists for sacred liturgical art based on the document Built of Living Stones – Art, Architecture, and Worship, guidelines of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. A DVD of the altar consecration liturgy with Timothy L. Doherty, Bishop of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana presiding, is incorporated into the book.
My ministry role at Saint Louis de Montfort Church in Fishers, Indiana in Liturgy and Art & Environment steeped a deep appreciation and gratitude for all things holy and sacred.
My prior studies include: Notre Dame Center for Liturgy summer symposium on the Eucharist; and the New Roman Missal Translation at University of Saint Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois; Harlaxton College, Grantham, England; and, a Bachelors degree in Communications, concentration in Radio Television from Saint Joseph’s College.
Led by Our beautiful Blessed Mother to write a book, that will unfold when she is ready is an invitation to the world in multiple languages. In the words of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, “I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter to the world.”
Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam. For the greater glory of God.
